This page explains how to credit back a deposit/bond invoice.


1. Check if deposit has been paid

From the tenancy

screen

:

Click Manage Deposits
  • In the Accounts panel, beside the Deposit field, click Manage


If Deposit Paid shows as None:

  • click Deposit Credited and select Raise Credit Note
  • Move to step 2

OR

If Deposit Paid shows a monetary value:

  • this can only be returned via Refund Deposit

Deposit Credited can only be used on deposit invoices raised that have not yet been paid



2. Enter amount to be credited

  • Enter the Amount that is to be credited plus a Description for the credit

  • Click Accept
