Info

As well as consent setting Marketing Consent on the contact record, it is possible to apply individual levels of consent to mailings or /events within the appropriate section. You choose to use this to denote that the contact may have the Categories & Mailings screen (also on the contact record).

This can be used when a contact has denied consent for general mailing items marketing but has expressed interest in specific publications. Or the reverse is also true in that - where a contact who has consented for marketing can request but has requested to not receive items to do with particular subjects. The options can be selected, any Opt Out will be recorded with the date this on specific subjects.

Use the Categories & Mailings screen in the contact record to specify individual requirements. Any mailings that a contact chooses to opt out of is recorded, along with the date it was changed.
