The year start date for budgeting purposes is set on the estate record. A separate financial year start can also be set, as required. The service charge invoicing frequency is also set up on the main site record.
1. Year start date The year start for budgeting purposes is set here In Year start:

2. Financial year start The Financial year start can be set differently to the above year start, if required In Financial Year start:

3. Service charge invoice frequency A regular frequency setting can be chosen or custom frequencies set-up In Service charge invoicing: Click the link to choose from Monthly, Quarterly, Half Yearly, Yearly, CustomSee step 4 for information on adding a custom invoice frequency
5. Custom invoice frequency Selecting Custom displays the Invoicing Frequency screen: Click the + icon to add a frequencySelect whether the Instalment amounts are Equal or Custom If Custom is selected, amounts can be entered and need to add up to the total service charge amount for the site Set the Month and Day (plus Amount for Custom instalments) for this invoice cycle Repeat the above steps until all instalments are added Click Accept to save Hovering over the Custom link on the main estate record displays the custom frequency settings - see 5a
