When someone is currently a joint landlord but now has a property where they are the main/sole landlord, a new landlord record needs to be created for them where they are with them as the main landlord

1. Joint landlord example

  • Bella Carson is currently a joint landlord

  • She would now like you to carry out an appraisal on a new property where she is sole landlord

Note

To avoid duplicate records being created, the new lettings property should be added to AgencyCloud using the current joint landlord contact record, see next step

2. Add new lettings property & current joint landlord as main landlord

From current joint landlord contact record:

  • In Activity section (bottom left), click (plus)

  • Select Lettings Property

  • The contact search screen is displayed - click Add (top left)
    You do not need to search for the landlord or select any option offered (just click Add)

  • A prompt may be displayed regarding marketing the contact’s address - click Yes/No as appropriate:

  • A new property record and landlord record is created and displayed with the contact added as the main/sole landlord
