Portal data feed error emails RTDF (UK only)

When using real time data feed (RTDF) to property portals, emails from a portal outlining data feed errors may be received for various reasons

This page outlines the common errors and what needs to be done in order to prevent further emails being received

Error email 1 - branch ID access to channel

  • Email message: We were unable remove your property as the Branch ID provided in the call does not have access to the Lettings/Sales channel

  • Reason: an ID can feed properties across one of the sales or lettings channels - this email tends to be received if a property is set to feed across a channel it isn't associated to

  • Solution: contact Rightmove to confirm your branch ID and the channel(s) you can feed across

Error email 2 - branch ID not associated with network

  • Email message: We were unable to remove this property record because the branch_ID specified is not associated with your network

  • Reason: usually occurs when the wrong branch ID has been added to the Reapit configuration and a property is set to feed across that ID
    To check the Branch ID set up on Reapit, see note at the bottom of this article

  • Solution: contact Rightmove to confirm your branch ID

Error email 3 - unable to remove property

  • Email message: We were unable to remove your property record because Agent_Ref given did not correspond with any property for the branch_id or channel specified in the RemoveProperty request

  • Reason: this email is usually received when a property has been removed via Rightmove+ but a message hasn't been sent back to Reapit to advise of this (therefore the Reapit software still thinks the property is still online)

  • Solution: Contact Reapit Support with details of the error email and to request that the tracking data is deleted - click here to log a ticket

Where is the branch ID set up in Reapit?

The branch ID used by the portals, is setup in Reapit within the Office Setup screen - this screen is accessible if you have access to self-service configuration screens in Reapit
