Restrict access to Client/Trust Account Reconciliation (& accounts reports) - configuration options

This guide has been reviewed against our global client base and classed as relevant to all regions

Configuration options are available which, when enabled, prevent a user from:

  • accessing Client/Trust Account Reconciliation

  • accessing Sales Trust Accounts Reconciliation

  • accessing Reporting and Analysis and Landlord Tax options

Either one or both of the above settings can be applied per user/group, meaning that a user can:

  • Get full access to all options mentioned above

  • Get access to Client/Trust Account Reconciliation, but not to the Reporting and Analysis & Landlord Tax options and vice versa

  • Be blocked from all options mentioned above

Client/Trust Accounts
When reporting security configuration settings are in place

From the Lettings/Rentals menu:

  • Access to the Client/Trust Account Reconciliation option may be limited

    and/or

  • Access to the Reporting and Analysis menu and Landlord Tax options may be limited

Sales Trust Accounts

When reporting security configuration settings are in place

From the Property, Trust Accounting menu:

  • Access to the Trust Account Reconciliation option may be limited

    and/or

  • Access to the Reporting and Analysis option may be limited
