Require electrical safety certificate on tenancy - configuration option

A configuration option is available which, when enabled, requires a valid electrical safety certificate to be present on a tenancy before the tenancy can be made current

1. Enter electrical safety certificate details

From tenancy:

  • Access Pre-Tenancy tab

  • Beside Electrical cert, ensure valid certificate details are entered or tick No electric

2. Enter certificate details

From new certificate screen:

  • Enter certificate details as usual

 

 

 

New certificates can be added by clicking the No certificate link on the Pre-Tenancy screen (shown in step 1) or from the property via the Attributes screen (Appliances, Insurance & Safety tab)

3. When making tenancy current

When making a tenancy current:

  • If a valid electrical certificate is not entered (and No electric is not ticked), a prompt will be displayed
