Tenancy recurring fee enhancements

This guide has been reviewed against our global client base and classed as relevant to all regions

When entering a recurring charge on a tenancy, the following new options are offered:

  • add VAT/GST for relevant charge types

  • add a weekly frequency

  • add a collection fee for a tenant to landlord charge

When entering a recurring charge on a tenancy:

1. Include VAT/GST

When selecting a relevant Charge Type where VAT/GST can be included

Beside the Net Amount field:

  • an option to Include VAT/GST is shown to the right

 

This option is offered on the following Charge Types:

tenant to supplier fee, tenant to landlord fee, landlord to supplier fee, landlord to tenant fee

(for other charges VAT/GST is applied by default)

The option to add VAT/GST has also been added when logging a One-off fee

2. Weekly frequency

The option to recur weekly is available

In Recur every field:

  • Enter frequency

  • Click link to the right and select Weeks

 

3. Collection fee

When charging a recurring tenant to landlord fee, the option to enter a collection fee is available

In Charge Type:

  • Set Tenant to Landlord Fee type

  • The option to set a Collection fee is offered to the right

    A fixed fee or a percentage of the Net Amount can be set - click the icon to the right of the Collection fee
