Require document to be uploaded on selected checklist items - configuration option

This guide has been reviewed against our global client base and classed as relevant to all regions

A configuration option is available which, when enabled, requires a document to be uploaded in order to mark a checklist item as Completed - this can be applied to one/more items within a checklist

This feature is available within the following checklists: Pre-Tenancy, Post-Tenancy, Pre-Instruction, Offer, Certificate (for more information on the functionality for each checklist, click the corresponding links)

When this feature is enabled, checklist items which require a document to be uploaded are indicated by a document icon to the right of it

  • In the example above, the Tenant Reference Check, Tenant Credit Check and Inventory items each need a document to be uploaded

  • These items cannot be marked as Completed until a document is uploaded

  • Once a document has been uploaded (via the paperclip icon to the right, as usual), the document icon is removed and the check can be marked as Completed
