Disable, re-enable & delete a user account (IRE / Reapit Bookings)

This guide has been reviewed against our global client base and classed as relevant to all regions

When a user account is no longer in use and/or you do not wish to allow a user to log in to the system, the account can be disabled - a disabled account can be re-enabled and therefore used again in future

When an account is no longer required, it can be deleted - deleting an account is final and cannot be reversed - an account must be disabled before it can be deleted

This guide covers how to:

Access Manage Users screen

From dashboard menu (on left):

  • Click Settings, select Admin then click Manage Users
    The screen shown is step 2 is displayed

Disable (& re-enable) a user account

Once an account is disabled, the user will not able to log in to the system
Disabling a user account is reversible
If you wish to delete a user account (see next section), it must be disabled first

From manage users:

  • From user list on left, find the required name and click to select

  • Click Disable User

3. Identify disabled user accounts (& re-enable a disabled account)

From manage users:

  • From list on left, find user account name and click to select
    Disabled user accounts are indicated with an asterisk (*)

  • Click Enable User

Delete a user account

Deleting a user account cannot be reversed - deleting an account is final and cannot be reversed, therefore should only be done when the user account is no longer required

In order to delete a user, the account needs to be disabled first (see previous section)

From manage users:

  • From list on left, find user account name and click to select
    Disabled user accounts are indicated with an asterisk (*)

  • Click Delete User
