SMS Speedway are a third-party provider who provide text message services integrated with Reapit - this service allows you to send text messages to contacts in your database, such as diary reminders, sale progress updates, to send out information on new stock or just to keep in contact

Occasionally when sending text messages, errors can occur - this page outlines the most common errors received from SMS Speedway, along with general guidelines on how to investigate

1. Internet Explorer does not pop-up

After a text is sent, Internet Explorer (IE) should open to confirm that the SMS has been sent. Follow these steps if IE fails to pop-up:

  • Check your Windows Task Manager for any instances of Internet Explorer running in the background, end all instances and retry

  • Check if Internet Explorer is set as your default browser, go to Control Panel > Programs > Default Programs

2. Error message - SMS message not queued: incorrect login

  • Contact Reapit Support who can confirm with SMS Speedway whether or not the account credentials are correct

  • Alternatively, you may need to speak to SMS Speedway in order to obtain a login if the account does not exist: support@sms-speedway.com / 01228 217 222 or 0845 869 2935

3. Error message - SMS message not queued: out of credit

One credit is required per message (each message can be up to 160 characters); if the account has run out of credit then you will not be able to send any further messages

4. Error message - SMS message not queued: no message set

  • Contact Reapit Support who can investigate further
