Generate Google map image (for use in online marketing & brochures)

A Google map image can be generated from the property screen - this can be done in usual map view or satellite view

Generated maps are added as images on the property record and can therefore be used to upload to marketing materials and online portals

1. Access map 

From the property record:

  • Click Marketing

  • Beside Lat/Long reference, click Lookup/Change

Dependent on system settings, you may be able to access the property map from the Lat/Long field on the main property record

2. Make & save map image

The Google map will be displayed

First ensure that the map is displayed as required for the image:

  • Use the drop-down menu (top left) to choose Map or Satellite view
    Note Street View is not supported for this feature

Click and drag to move the map
Click and drag the pin to change property location
Zoom in/out using the +/- buttons or mouse wheel
Right-click for options to Centre map and Reset zoom

To make & save the map image:

  • In Map view - click Make Map

  • In Satellite view, click Make Map 

  • Click Yes - the created image will be displayed

3. Access map in pictures screen

The newly created map image is automatically stored in the pictures screen

On property:

  • Click pictures panel (bottom left)
    The map is automatically given the image type of Map
