Add a recurring charge to a tenancy

This page explains how to add a recurring charge to a tenancy

1. Complete the Tenancy Renewals and Alterations screen

Open the relevant tenancy screen, Financial & Renewals tab:

  • In the Renewals / Alterations / Fees section (bottom of screen), click  

  • Select Add renewal, alteration or fee and click Accept

The Tenancy Renewals and Alterations screen is displayed:

  • Select Recurring Charge

  • Enter the From and to date for the period the recurring charge is to be raised for, leaving to blank if the charge is to be raised indefinitely

  • Select Charge Type and Account

  • Complete the Net Amount and Recur every fields along with the appropriate Narrative for the charge

  • Click Accept

2. Review the recurring charge

From the tenancy, Accounts Functions panel:

  • Click Invoicing and select Raise Invoice

  • The recurring fee that will be raised along with the rent invoice is displayed in the Fees and Charges section at the top
