Property licensing screen enhancements

This guide has been reviewed against our global client base and classed as relevant to all regions

Available from version 12.202

No additional configuration is required for this update - however, property licensing functionality is a configurable option for Enterprise customers

The property licensing screen has been enhanced to include additional fields, plus some existing fields have been renamed

1. Access licensing screen on property attributes

From property (sales or lettings):

  • In Attributes panel, click edit (pencil) icon

  • Click Licensing tab

2. Renamed fields

The panel on the left has been separated into category sections and several existing fields, now within the Licence Granted section, have been renamed:

  • Licence Type Granted (previously named Licence Type)

    • Options offered in this menu are: Selective, Additional, Mandatory, Not Required, Unknown
      These options are the same as those offered in the Licence Compliance Status menu and can be added to via configuration - contact Reapit Support to request this

  • Allowed Households (previously named Households)

  • Allowed Occupants (previously named Number of Occupants)

3. New fields

The following new fields have been added to the panel on the left

Property Licencing & Licence Application sections:

  • Licence Compliance Status - select from Compliant, Non Compliant or Unknown
    These options can be added to via configuration - contact Reapit Support to request this

  • Section 257 Property - select from Yes, No or Not Set

  • Article 4 - select from Yes, No or Not Set

  • Licence Type Required - select from Selective, Additional, Mandatory, Not Required, Unknown
    These options are the same as those offered in the Licence Type Granted menu and can be added to via configuration - contact Reapit Support to request this

Licence Granted & Current tenancy sections:

  • Licence Reference No - enter the licence reference number

  • Restrictions - where restrictions apply, tick the box and enter detail into the text box beside this

  • Current Tenancy Households - enter the relevant number

    • This field is linked to the Allowed Households field above

    • If the number entered here exceeds what is entered into the Allowed Households field, a message is displayed and the fields are shown with a red border

  • Current Tenancy Occupants - this number is not editable and is taken from the tenants and occupiers listed on the current tenancy
