There may be circumstances where a tenant should not be chased for rent arrears. This article outlines how to set a preference on a tenancy to not chase arrears - that tenant will then be excluded from the Chase Arrears screen.


1. Do not chase arrears option

In Click Management tab
section arrears2. Arrears screen chase arrears Chase Arrears screen
In the example shown, while this tenant is in arrears, they do not feature in the

From the tenancy record, Details tab, in the Accounts panel:

  • Beside the current Arrears
  • figure, tick Do not chase

  • Image Added

  • Click Save

While the Do not

chase box is ticked, the tenant will not appear in the 

Chase Arrears screen

If/when circumstances change and the tenant should be chased, then go back to the

Management

Details tab and untick the Do not chase

arrears 

box
