As well as setting Marketing Consent on the contact record, it is possible to apply individual levels of consent to mailings/events within the Categories & Mailings screen (also on the contact record). This can be used when a contact has denied consent for general marketing but has expressed interest in specific publications. Or the reverse - where a contact has consented for marketing but has requested to not receive items on specific subjects. Use the Categories & Mailings screen in the contact record to specify individual requirements. Any mailings that a contact chooses to opt out of is recorded, along with the date it was changed. |
