A configuration option is available which allows a 'with legal' status to be set and displayed on the arrears screen

The status options available are dependent on company requirements and need to be configured by via Reapit Support - click here  to to request this


1. Set 'with legal' status

From the main menu, select Lettings/Rentals:

  • Click Chase Arrears

  • Right-click over the required arrears and select Set with legal status

  • Tick the required option from the list and click Select

2. Viewing arrears by legal status

On the Arrears screen:

  • A With Legal Status column is added (usually far right)

  • Click the column heading to sort by legal status

  • Click to the right of the heading for options to group by legal status

You can click and drag the column heading to change its position - then, to to save this view, right right-click over the column headings and select Save grid layout


3. Editing & clearing legal status

On the Arrears screen:

  • Right-click over relevant arrears

  • To edit status:
    • Click Set with legal status, make change and click Select

  • To clear status:
    • Click Clear with legal status and click Yes to confirm
