When landlord fee functionality is in use, the lettings property status determines when whether landlord fees are raised - by this update prevents fees being raised when not required

When the landlord fee is set-up, an option to select the property status it will apply to is available - default options will be presented, but can be changed, as required

1. Add/edit landlord fee

From property:

  • Click Rent/Fee Details

  • In Landlord fees panel, double-click to edit an existing fee or double-click Add

  • Set-up landlord fee as usual
    A new field to set the Property Status is available, see step 2

2. Select which property status the fee should apply to

From Landlord Fee screen:

  • Click link beside Property Status

  • By default, landlord fees will only be raised for properties with any of the following statuses:

    • To Let - Available or Unavailable

    • Under Offer - Available or Unavailable

    • Arranging Tenancy - Available or Unavailable

    • Tenancy Current - Available or Unavailable

  • Ensure the relevant property status options for this fee are selected, click Accept

When a property is at any other status than those listed above, one-off or recurring landlord fees will not be raised

Tip

Any landlord fees set prior to the update in version 12.187 will automatically have the default property status options applied - this can be changed by editing the fee and changing the selected Property Status options, as outlined above
