1. Create letter and email

Letters can be converted to PDF and emailed within the Reapit system

1. Create letter

In AgencyCloud, create

and email

  • Create the letter as usual in the Reapit system

  • From the letter in Word

:Click
  • /DevExpress, click Save (in Word/DevExpress)
    The screen will switch back to the Reapit Letter Generator

in AgencyCloud and will display
  • displaying document options

  • Select E-mail PDF

- a new email will be created with the letter attached as a PDF file
  • Complete the email and click Send

  • If you have finished with the letter, close the Word document

  • Tip

    If you need to carry out another task with the letter, such as to save it to AgencyCloud as a Word and/or PDF document, see this guide: Create & save a letter

    Complete the above screen as follows:

    • Select recipients - allows any roles involved in the selected record to be chosen and new email addresses entered

      • Click each section to expand and tick the required contacts with an email address

      • Contacts cannot be selected if no email address is stored for them

    • New address - use this field to enter any further email addresses, separated by a comma

    • Hide/Bcc recipients - tick this box to add the recipients to the Bcc field on the email
      This prevents the recipients addresses from being displayed on the email
      Leaving the box un-ticked will add all selected/entered recipients to the To field

    • Send - Attach as PDF to - select to send a Blank E-mail
      or click the drop-down menu and choose a template (where available)

    • Subject - enter a subject line for the email

    • Attachments - click the paperclip icon to the right

      • Add attachment from this device - browse to find the required letters/files on your device

      • Add attachment from Property - allows letters to be attached that are currently saved in the Existing Letters & Files panel of Letters screen of the record you are currently using (e.g. property)

    From version 12.166 and below

    • The above screen will not be displayed, after choosing to E-mail PDF, a new email will be created with the letter attached as a PDF file

    • Complete the email and click Send

    3. Email option from letters screen

    When a letter has been saved to the Letters screen (or any Documents screen):

    • Right-click over the letter andselect Attach to e-mail
