This is particularly useful for properties that are not generating viewings or interest, as the comments can be used to identify why this might be the case

1. Adding comments to the applicant journal

When speaking to an applicant to gain their feedback on property details sent out:

  • Open the applicant journal and expand the Matches section

  • Select a property to write follow up comments on

  • In the Match panel (on right), click + Add follow up

  • Enter comments and click the cross icon to close the window
    Comments are automatically saved

    Continue adding comments for other properties, where possible

2. Accessing comments in the property journal

Before carrying out a vendor/landlord update:

  • Open the property journal and expand the Matches section

  • Follow up comments already added are displayed beside the matched applicants

  • Select a match entry to display the follow up comments in the Follow up panel on the right
    This will also show details of the selected matched applicant on the right

Tip

This provides information to pass on to the client regarding interest on their property

3. Searching the journal

If looking for notes entered within a particular time frame (e.g. since the property had a price change):

  • Enter the relevant date range in the Dates fields; the journal will automatically filter out all entries outside of this range

  • To show all entries again, click Filter, Clear all filters

The search field can be used to find entries with a particular note added:

  • Type the key word(s) and press Enter

  • To show all entries again, click Filter, Clear all filters
