A configuration option is available which allows draft and final report documents to be uploaded to a property inspection - once uploaded, the inspection can then be classed as completed 

The property inspection appointment screen is used for the uploading of the report documents

1. Upload property inspection draft report

The option to upload property inspection documents is only available on a diary appointment screen when the Entry Type is Property Inspection and there is a tenancy on the selected property 

From the Property Inspection appointment:

  • Draft Report and Final Report buttons are shown at the top of the screen
  • Click Draft Report
    A window will be displayed to allow you to browse to the report on your device - double-click when found


2. Draft report uploaded

The Draft Report button is shown with a tick beside it

  • Hover over the button to display the date/time the report was uploaded

  • Click the button for options to View report and Delete report


3. Upload property inspection final report

  • Click Final Report and browse to the report document, as outlined in step 1

    The Final Report button is shown with a tick beside it

  • Hover over the button to display the date/time the report was uploaded

  • Click the button for options to View report and Delete report


4. Accessing the report documents

As outlined above, the reports can be accessed via the property inspection appointment they can also be accessed via the tenancy letters screen

From the tenancy:

  • Click Letters
    Uploaded property inspection reports are shown in the Existing letters and files panel on right

  • Right-click over the file for options to rename, delete, print or email the report


The uploading of inspection reports is automatically logged as a Management Note on the tenancy and is therefore visible in the Activity Feed panel
