Credit notes can be printed, saved as PDF and emailed. 


1. Create credit note 

From the Credit Notes screen:

  • Select/enter details of the item to credit, as usual

  • Click Next


2. Options to print, save & email

  • Enter details of the credit

  • Options are available to:
    Print credit note
    Store PDF credit note (see 2a)
    Email PDF credit note

    Tick the required option(s)

  • Click Finish


2a. Using the Store PDF credit note option

Using Store PDF credit note is currently not available to select independently

If wanting to use this option, please select either the print or email option alongside it

Using the store option independently will be available from the next release (v12.116)

3. Print credit note

If the Print credit note option was selected in step 2:

  • An option to preview the credit note is offered - if selecting Yes, the credit note will be displayed

  • Print options will also be displayed to allow you to send the document to a printer


4. Store PDF credit note

If the Store PDF credit note option was selected in step 2:

  • The credit note is automatically stored in the Letters or Documents screen as a PDF document

5. Email PDF credit note

If the Email PDF credit note option was selected in step 2:

  • The credit note is attached as a PDF document to a new email message, with the relevant email address in the To field


6. Transactions

The credit note can also be printed from the Transactions screen:

  • Right-click over the credit note

  • Select Print credit note
