When a third party provider is used for ID Checking (such as LexisNexis) - when carrying out a manual ID check instead, a configuration option is available which, when enabled, will prevent ID being marked as successful when it is incomplete. An information message will be displayed to identify what needs to be completed.

When enabled:

  • When manually checking ID and marking it as Successful, a validation check will be carried out on the entered information

  • If it is incomplete, when attempting to saving the ID Check, a message will be displayed to indicate what needs to be added in order to validate it

    For example:

This configuration option only applies when using a third party provider for ID checking.

When entering ID manually without the use of a third party, validation checks are usually already in place. For more information on entering ID details manually, click here.
