You may notice that you cannot view a certain record because it is **Masked** for yourself. This article will explain why this is happening and the best approach to take.

We are able to Mask Applicants/Properties/Contacts/Diary entries based on which negotiator owns the record or which office owns the record.

1. Why are records masked?

  • A record will only be masked due to the security settings for your company. This is effected by the negotiator/office that owns that record

  • Although a contact/property may be yours; you may not have the necessary permissions to view that office/negotiator's data in RPS

Please note

If you need to access a Masked record, please contact your manager/key contact

 Check the office / negotiator

1. Checking it is masked

  • On the odd occasion, it is just the name of the record has been changedIf this is the case, you will still be able to access the record and amend the name field

Note

You will notice that the vendor is actually clickable and therefore still accessible / not masked
