This article contains details of common issues that may be encountered using Lifetime Legal integrated with Reapit, including information on how to correct these issues

1. Contact address is not set for applicant or vendor

  • This error appears if the contact record associated with the referral (applicant or vendor) does not have address lines 1 to 3, plus the postcode, populated (as shown in 1a)

You may also see this error when using addresses with an international format, in this scenario, it is important to ensure that these four fields are still filled out when attempting to send Lifetime Legal Conveyancing referrals

  • A similar error may also be seen on the ID Check screen when attempting to manually amend the status

Applicant/vendor error

ID check error

1a. Add address lines 1-3 & postcode

2. Contact has no contact details set

  • As a minimum, the contact associated with the vendor or applicant being referred should have an e-mail address or phone number configured, as shown in 2a

2a. Add contact details

This shows where the information should be added on a contact record although this can also be added on the associated applicant or property record as well

3. Company's contact title is not set

Company contacts can not be used for sending referrals, these result in this error being displayed

  • Where the vendor is a company, referrals will need to be logged directly with Lifetime Legal

  • Company referrals currently cannot be processed via Reapit

4. Reapit configuration issues

These errors are both likely to be caused by missing or incorrect configuration of the Lifetime Legal integration in your Reapit setup

  • If you encounter either of these errors, please contact Reapit Support through the usual channels

5. More than two vendors or applicants

Referrals attempted for property or applicant records with more than two contacts linked will not be submitted

For referrals such as these, the system will offer to generate an e-mail to Lifetime Legal to process

 6. Other common issues/queries

How do I create an AML check (ID check)?

  • AML Checks will be created automatically when submitting a referral

  • These can be seen in the ID Check menu (via the contact record in your Reapit software)
As Lifetime Legal progress the check, updates will be automatically applied to the ID Check screen in your Reapit software

How can I send a conveyancing referral only?

  • Conveyancing referrals can not be sent without an AML Check, the integration will always send a corresponding AML check

  • No labels
