New user interface - property screen

This guide has been reviewed against our global client base and classed as relevant to all regions

As part of the new user interface (UI) project, the property screen has been redesigned to bring it in line with previously redesigned screens

All existing functionality exists but with a refreshed look and feel with enhanced usability features

1. Buttons

Buttons previously found along the bottom of the  screen (Match, etc) are now found across the top of the screen (for Pictures see point 4)

  • Viewings can be booked by clicking Viewings and Keys then New Appointment

  • Menu items previously available via the Options menu can now be found by clicking the ellipsis button ()

2. Menu options

A downwards pointing arrow indicates menu options exist

  • Click the arrow to view options available, e.g. Status

3. Journal entries replace contact notes

As seen in other new UI screens, a contact note is now termed as a journal entry; journal entries are shown in the Activity Feed

Adding a contact note is now done like this:

  • Click  and select Create journal entry

  • Enter your note and click Accept

Like previous Contact Notes, entries in the Activity Feed are non-editable and provide a useful audit trail for activity

4. Pictures

The following enhancements have been made to pictures:

  • the main property image is shown by default in the bottom left panel

  • all images can be viewed from the main screen; hover over the image and use arrow buttons to scroll through

  • the star, shown bottom right, indicates that the displayed image is set as main

  • add images by dragging and dropping new files (pictures, floorplans, maps) over this panel

  • access the pictures screen by clicking the image/panel

5. Contact shortcuts

As seen in other new UI screens, icons beside contact details offer shortcuts

  • For example: send email/SMS, edit, copy or delete

6. Accessing Marketing, Financial, EPC, Rooms & property Attributes

  • Previous links, such as Marketing, Financial, EPC, Rooms are now available through buttons on the related panel

  • Edit property attributes by clicking the edit icon (pencil) in the Attributes panel
