Create/edit office groups (Marketplace Management app)

An office group can be setup in the Marketplace Management app - an office group has multiple offices associates to it which allows the offices within the group to share the same access requirements

This page outlines how to access office groups, how to add a group and how to add/remove offices from an existing group

1. Access offices & office groups

On the Marketplace Management app - from Offices page, two options are available (on left panel):

Offices

  • Lists all offices within your organisation where you can search for an office by Name

  • This page is for information only - no other action can be carried out

Office Groups

  • Shows the current office groups for the Organisation

  • Offices that are added to a group will only see data within that group

  • For example, if you create an office group called Test Group and add office Office 1 to the group, Office 1 would only see data for Office 1 - if you add Office 2 to the group, both Office 1 & Office 2 will see each other’s data

Data is visible to all offices within a group

2. Create office group

From Office Groups:

  • Click Create Group (on left panel)

From the screen shown below:

  • In step 1, enter Office Group Name
    The name you enter will be visible to external developers

  • In step 2, below Offices field, start typing the name of the office you wish to add to the group and select required office when displayed

    • Select at least one office to create the group

      • You can select as many offices as you require

      • An office cannot be a part of multiple groups

    • When all offices have been added, click Submit (bottom right)

The group will be created and a notification is displayed to confirm this

3. Add/remove office from an existing group

From office group list:

  • Click icon to the right of the row - Edit Office Group options will be displayed

  • Use the Offices field to add additional offices, or select an existing office to remove

  • When you are happy with the changes, click Submit (bottom right)
