This guide has been reviewed against our global client base and classed as relevant to the following regions: APAC

This guide outlines the process to import finalised inspection reports from Inspection Express back into Reapit. The feature will also provide an option to complete all associated diary appointments.

The following 2 step process can be run at any time:

1. Run the Inspection Express custom report

This is accessed via Reports > Custom Reports.

Click on the Inspection Express option to run the import (see Figure 1). This will import all inspections that are in a "Finalised" status in the Inspection Express system.

This process may take some time to complete depending on how many reports are contained in the download from Inspection Express.

2. Complete the associated diary appointments

Once the import has completed, the system will display the results.

Untick the Agent filter to display all results.

If you wish to complete the associated diary appointments, Click "Select all" and then click "Mark Completed"

The "Mark Completed" option will only become available once a selection is made.

Hints, Tips and Troubleshooting

  • When an inspection has been booked directly in Inspection Express and a diary appointment does not exist within Reapit - the system will the create and complete the corresponding Check In, Routine Inspection or Check Out appointment, based on the inspection type information that is downloaded from Inspection Express.
  • The report import and associated appointment housekeeping can be automated as a scheduled routine task. Reapit support can assist with this.
  • Reapit will only download inspections that are flagged as "Finalised" in the Inspection Express app.
  • The report download can take up to 15 minutes to complete, in some cases where there is a large payload to download, it may even seem unresponsive. This part of the process is highly dependent on your internet connection.
