Prompt to complete document properties (name/type) when saving to documents/letters screens

When saving a document to the system either via a document management or letters screen, the document properties screen is automatically displayed which requires the document type to be set at the same time as saving it

This prompt is seen throughout the system when saving a document/letter by dragging and dropping a file, by browsing for a file or when creating a new document/letter and choosing to save it to the system

This update ensures that a document type is identified before it is saved, along with the document/letter name being saved appropriately

After choosing to save a document/letter:

  • The Document Properties screen is automatically displayed

    • Name - ensure the name is appropriate for the document/letter

    • Type - select the appropriate option
      For a new document/letter a type must be chosen before it can be saved

    • Click Accept

Setting a document/letter type ensures it is categorised correctly within the system, while updating the document name ensures it is displayed as required in the documents/letters screens
