For clients with large databases, especially large volumes of archived data, they may find that searching from the main menu bar results in performance issues with their Reapit software.
To overcome this, a configuration option is available that switches off archive searching for applicants/properties/contacts from the main menu. Archive searching will still be available, but only when a user chooses to do this.

Configuration for this feature is available for all or one/two of the following record types: applicants, properties or contacts.
