Post-tenancy checks can be set-up to prevent the deposit/bond being released until specific checks are complete

The post-tenancy check option(s) which are linked to the deposit/bond release are dependent on company requirements and need to be configured by via Reapit Support - click here to request this


1. Post tenancy checks linked to deposit/bond release

From the tenancy, Post-Tenancy tab:

  • In the Post-Tenancy checks panel, checks which are linked to release of the deposit/bond are displayed with an exclamation mark (!) to the right
  • These checks need to be marked as Completed (or Not Needed) before a deposit/bond can be released


2. Attempting to release the deposit/bond with incomplete checks

If the checks are left as shown above and Refund Deposit is clicked, a message will be displayed




3. When checks are complete

When the three checks (shown in step 1) have been marked as Completed (or Not Needed)

  • Choosing to Refund Deposit will display the Tenant Refunds screen allowing the deposit/bond to be released
