A configuration option is available which will prevent a supplier being added to a works order when they do not have a specific, valid certificate/accreditation in place

This feature is limited to specific certificate types as set-up in configuration, e.g. public liability

This configuration option needs to be enabled via Reapit Support - click here to request this

1. Adding a supplier to a works order without a required/valid certificate

  • Complete the works order as usual

  • In the Contractor section, when selecting a company record that does not have either:
    • the required certificate/accreditation type
      or
    • a valid required certificate/accreditation

      A message will be displayed

When gathering contractor quotes, contractors are added to the works order without the certificate check

When accepting a contractor quote, the certificate check will then be carried out on the successful contractor

2. Adding/updating supplier certificates

Supplier certificates/accreditations are set up in the supplier company record

From the company record:

  • Click Supplier Details tab

In the Accreditations section, any certificate details already added will be shown

  • Double-click to update the certificate details or click Add - see 2a

2a:

In addition to the above, configuration is also available so that the works order type will determine which certificates are checked

For example, a gas safety accreditation would only be taken into consideration for a works order type of gas safety

  • No labels
