There may be circumstances where a tenant should not be chased for rent arrears. This article outlines how to set a preference on a tenancy to not chase arrears - that tenant will then be excluded from the Chase Arrears screen.


1. Do not chase arrears option

From the tenancy record:

  • Click Management tab

  • In the Arrears section, tick Do not chase arrears


2. Arrears screen

  • While the Do not chase arrears box is ticked, the tenant will not appear in the Chase Arrears screen

    In the example shown, while this tenant is in arrears, they do not feature in the Chase Arrears screen


If circumstances change and the tenant should be chased, then go back to the Management tab and untick the Do not chase arrears box
