Rent guarantee generated income included when calculating tax liability

This guide has been reviewed against our global client base and is relevant to non-APAC regions only

Rent guarantee functionality is a configurable option for Enterprise customers
To request this option to be enabled on your system, click here to contact Reapit Support

Along with standard rent income transactions for a landlord marked as tax-deductible, rent guarantee generated income transactions are taken into consideration when calculating tax liability

This allows rent guarantee products to be offered to non-residential landlords with tax correctly deducted, as required by HMRC for non-resident landlords

In Landlord Transactions:

  • When rent guarantee payments are generated, a landlord tax invoice is also created for the relevant amount
