Use Reapit Go to send an email & log in journal

This guide has been reviewed against our global client base and classed as relevant to all regions

When an email address is displayed as a link in Reapit Go, it can be clicked to generate an email - the same process is offered when using other functions that require email contact on Reapit Go, such as when sending an appointment booking confirmation

After sending an email, a journal entry can be created to log this contact

When contact details are displayed:

  • Tap email address

  • The following screen is displayed

This screen is used as a shortcut to call number or send a WhatsApp or SMS/text message

1. Access email address

When contact details are displayed:

  • Tap email address

2. Generate email message

After tapping an email address:

To skip creating a journal entry after sending the message, change Draft Journal Entry to No

  • Enter the message you wish to send

  • Tap Email

3. Send email message

The email application on your device is opened:

  • A new email message is created for the selected contact with the message (entered in Reapit Go) copied across

  • Send email message as normal

4. Create journal entry

After sending the email message:

  • The New Journal Entry screen is displayed to allow a Telephone/Contact journal entry to be logged

  • The message previously typed (in step 1) is automatically entered, but can be edited if required

  • Tap Save

    Once saved, journal entries cannot be edited or deleted

Journal entries can be viewed in Reapit Go via the property/applicant/contact details screen
