Reapit diary entries can be copied and synchronised with your Outlook calendar

This guide outlines how to set-up permissions for other users within your organisation who create diary entries in Reapit - giving them access to be able to copy and update entries in your Outlook calendar - therefore ensuring that Reapit and Outlook are always aligned

1. Share your calendar

From your Outlook Calendar:

  • Click Share Calendar

  • Under the email address of the calendar you wish to share, select Calendar

2. Set calendar permissions

The Calendar Properties window is displayed:

  • From the Permissions tab, click Add

    • In the Add Users screen, search for the required user(s) from your address book or type email address(es) manually

    • Click OK

  • Back in Calendar Properties, the names/email addresses just added are shown in the Currently sharing with window

    • select each name and choose the Permissions level to give them below

    • Click OK

  • The user(s) you've shared your calendar with will receive a sharing invitation by email which they must accept

If you see a message that says This calendar can't be shared, there are three possible reasons:

  • The email address is invalid

  • The email address is an Office 365 Group

  • The email belongs to an external user who isn't part of your organisation
