Hide or display missing Activity Feed entries (also known as journal entries or contact notes)

This guide has been reviewed against our global client base and classed as relevant to all regions

The Activity Feed panel displays journal entries (also previously known as Contact Notes) - it is possible to choose which entries are viewed/hidden in this panel

Depending on the version of Reapit you use, journal entries are added to the:

Activity Feed (see section 1)
OR
Contact Notes area (see section 2)

Adding a journal note/entry can be done from most records across the system - such as applicant, property, contact, landlord, tenant - the principles outlined below apply to each record where a journal entry can be added

Once added and saved, journal entries cannot be deleted and will always appear in the relevant journal(s) and Activity Feed(s)

1. Activity Feed view

An Activity Feed is shown on screens using the latest interface

From an Activity Feed panel where you wish to show/hide an entry:

Click the filter icon (top right) and select Edit hidden entry types
Remove/add any journal entry types, as required
Click the arrow to choose any other entry types to hide
Click Accept

2. Contact Notes view

Contact Notes are shown on records where older (or legacy) interface is in use

From a Contact Notes panel where you wish to show/hide an entry:

Click Contact notes and select Choose entries to view
Ensure the entry types that are needed to be seen in the Contact Notes screen are checked here
Telephone/Contact should usually be ticked, tick any other required options and click Accept
