This guide has been reviewed against our global client base and classed as relevant to the following regions: UK, APAC, UAE

You may notice that you cannot view a certain record because it is flagged as **Masked**

1. Why are records masked?

  • A record is masked due to the way the system security settings are configured for your company

  • This is affected by the Manager/Negotiator or Office that owns that record

  • Although a contact/property may be yours, you may not have the necessary permissions (set in configuration) to view the selected office/negotiator's data

2. Editing a masked record

  • On some occasions, while a record appears masked, you might still able to click links, view information and possibly make some changes

This is all dependent on how the security settings have been configured

If you need access to a Masked record, contact your manager or key Reapit contact
