The Office refer from criteria option in Power Reports allows a list of potential vendors to be generated

This criteria uses the referral postcodes (already set up) for each office and returns applicants with matching postcodes that are registered in other offices
This criteria option is also available for property records but is more likely to be used for applicant reports to locate applicants who are potential clients

For example, the London office can run a report to see how many applicants are registered in other offices where the applicant has a postcode within London’s selling patch
This example will be used below

1. Access Power Reports & select report type

From the main menu:

  • Click Reports and select Power Reports

  • Select report type as Applicant Report and select Sales or Lettings

  • Click Show more

2. Select criteria option

  • Select Office Refer From option

3. Select required office

The 'refer from' postcodes for each office (as set in configuration), are used to determine which applicants are returned in the report

  • Select which offices to report from

    • To report on your office applicants, select is current office

    • To search for other office applicants, select any of and select the required office(s)

  • Click Run Report (bottom right)
    You may wish to add other criteria to the report first - see step 5

For example, if choosing to report on London, applicants with London postcodes* will be returned that are registered at other offices
* providing their postcode falls into the London ‘refer from’ list in configuration

4. Report results

The report results are shown in grid

  • All applicants listed are sales applicants that are registered in another office (indicated by the Office column) and have a London office postcode

  • If a large amount of results are displayed, further criteria options can be added to narrow the results

5. Other criteria to add

Before running the report, further criteria options can be added to narrow the results returned

One or more of these options could be used:

  • Active - is true ensures only active applicants are returned

  • Registered allows you to return recently registered applicants

  • For sales applicant reporting:
    Selling Position - select options that indicate the applicant has a property to sell, as shown above
    This option relies on the Selling Position field being completed correctly on all applicant records

  • For lettings applicant reporting:
    Renting Position - select Pending Own Sale
    This option relies on the Renting Position field being completed correctly on all applicant records
