This page explains how to archive an applicant or contact - once archived, an applicant/contact record can be viewed and can be retrieved from the archive
Being able to complete any of these processes depends on security permissions

Archive & unarchive applicant
1. Archive applicant In some circumstances, an applicant cannot be archived (for example, if they have a pending offer) From applicant:
The Active icon on the applicant record will change (as shown in next step) plus a log of when the applicant was archived is added to the Activity Feed and applicant journal |
2. Unarchive applicant From applicant:
The Active icon on the applicant record will change again plus a log of when the applicant was recovered from the archive is added to the Activity Feed and applicant journal |
Archive & unarchive contact
1. Archive contact In some circumstances, a contact cannot be archived (for example, if they have active roles) From contact record:
The Status icon on the contact record will change (as shown in next step) plus a log of when the contact was archived is added to the Activity Feed and contact journal |
2. Unarchive contact From contact:
The Active icon on the contact record will change again plus a log of when the contact was recovered from the archive is added to the Activity Feed and contact journal |
