This article outlines how to handle selling a farm or estate as a whole and in multiple lots

The benefit of splitting the property record for an estate into multiple lots is beneficial for marketing and matching purposes while also allowing the sale of each lot to be progressed separately, where required

1. Create a record for the estate

  • Create a new property record

  • Enter details to cover the whole estate, including the property Attributes

2. Create first lot

From the property record:

  • Click the ellipsis button (...)
  • In Duplicate property/vendor select Multiple Lots

A copy of the property record is created

The main property record is now classed as Site Master and any lots created are classed as a Sub Plot

3. Amend property record for new lot

From the new property record just created:

  • Amend the record, changing Description, Price and Attributes to suit

  • Click Save

An option to copy pictures and/or rooms from the main property record is offered

4. Access main property record via view linked records option

All records for the estate can be viewed/accessed using the view linked records option

To navigate back to the main property record:

  • Click the ellipsis button (...)

  • Select View Linked Records

All linked records are shown for this estate

The property with the red border indicates the main property record

  • Double-click to open the main property record

5. Create subsequent lots

Repeat steps 2-3

  • No labels
