If an applicant record needs to be kept on the system but not matched to properties, it can be made inactive

This is often useful when an applicant is progressing with a sale/tenancy or when they need to put their search on hold while they are away

If you need to be reminded to make an applicant active again, use the call reminder functionality, as outlined in step 2 below.

1. Make an applicant record inactive

From the applicant record:

  • Click the arrow beside the Active option

  • Select Mark as inactive

  • Click Save (top right)

The icon beside the Active status will change (see step 3)

2. Set a call reminder

If you need to be reminded to make the applicant active again, set a call reminder

From the applicant record:

  • Click (plus) to the right of the Activity Feed panel and select Create call reminder

  • Complete the Call Reminder screen and click Save

The Call Reminder will be displayed in the applicant Activity Feed panel, see 2a

 2a. Call reminder set

The Call Reminder will be displayed in the applicant Activity Feed panel and will also be displayed on your Organiser from the reminder date, until it is marked as Complete

3. Making an applicant record active

From the applicant record:

  • Click the arrow beside the Active option

  • Select Mark as active

  • Click Save (top right)

The icon beside the Active status displays differently
(compared to the one seen in step 1)

  • No labels
