Using MyAgency to search for properties to rent or buy

This guide has been reviewed against our global client base and classed as relevant to all regions

All users of the MyAgency app have access to a property listings section which allows them to search for property that your company is currently marketing as for sale or to let - they can create a shortlist of properties they are interested in and also access shortcuts to contact the agent and/or request a viewing

1. Access property listings

From main toolbar:

  • Click Listing

2. Basic property details displayed

All properties that are For Sale & Available are displayed

To view lettings properties or sold properties, click Filter (see step 4 below for more information)

The Listing page shows:

  • Main property image with basic details below

  • Name of the property Key Contact shown top right

  • Star shown below right of property image allows the property to be added to the client’s shortlist - this is then shown on the My Search section of the user’s home page

    • Click star icon to add to shortlist

    • Star shows yellow to indicate that the property is in the shortlist

    • Click again to remove

  • Click image to view further details/functions - see step 5

3. Sort options

From image shown above:

  • Click Sort By (top right)

  • Select required option

  • The list is refreshed using the selected sort order

 

4. Search & filter options

The Search area field allows property areas to be searched (e.g. Battersea)

Filter options allow the list to be filtered by price, type, area & rooms - from top right of screen:

  • Click Filter icon (highlighted)

  • Click required options across top of screen to filter by For Sale, For Rent and Sold

  • Select required filter options

  • Click Search

5. View further details

Click property picture (shown in step 2) to view more property details with options to:

  • View property pictures
    Click the arrow to the right of the main picture to view all property pictures
    This shows all images stored in the property pictures screen as with the type of Picture

  • Book a viewing
    See next section

  • Contact negotiator
    The key contact for the property is displayed, options to call, text or email them are available

  • View map
    The property location is shown on an interactive map

  • Similar properties
    Properties similar to the selected property are shown

  • Enquire (always shown at bottom of screen)
    Provides a form for the applicant to complete

  • Call (always shown at bottom of screen)
    When using a mobile phone (or a device with a calling function), this option calls the Key Contact on the property listing

6. Request a viewing

From screen shown above, below the property main picture:

  • Click Book a Viewing

  • Click into the date field and select the desired date and time

  • Add any comments/notes

  • Click Book

An email is sent to the property key contact to action
