New disposal option on a sales property - Modern Method of Auction

Available from version 12.193

No configuration is required for this update - however, changing the default disposal type on a sales property is a configuration option available for Enterprise customers

A new disposal option, titled Modern Method of Auction, is available on a sales property record allowing properties being sold in an online auction to be identified

The Modern Method of Auction disposal option can be set-up as the default option for all new properties added on to the system and it can also be reported on via a property report

1. Set Modern Method of Auction as the disposal type

From property:

  • Click Disposal menu and select Modern Method of Auction

2. Report on disposal type

Being able to report by disposal type via a sales property report is existing functionality - the option to report on Modern Method of Auction properties has been added to the disposal criteria list, allowing properties being sold by this method to be easily identified

From main menu:

  • Click Reports then Power Reports and select report type of Property Report for Sales

  • Click Pick Property Criteria and then click Show more

  • Select Sales Disposal criteria option

  • Select Modern Method of Auction

2. View disposal type information in property/Organiser report grids

Properties being sold via a Modern Method of Auction can be easily identified when viewing properties in sales property Organiser grids and after running a sales property report by ensuring the disposal column is added to the grid, when required

From a report or Organiser property grid:

  • Right-click over the column headings, click Pick columns and select More

  • Tick Disposal and click Accept

  • The Disposal column is added to the far right side of the grid - click and drag the column heading to the desired position

  • Right-click over the column headings again and click Save grid layout

  • The column will show when using this type of grid again - grid functions can be used to sort, group or filter the list

    • To sort the list, click the column heading

    • To group or filter the list, hover over the right of the column heading to view filter icon (shown below) and click to either Group by Disposal or select the type to filter by
