When images are added to RPS, they are compressed slightly. It is recommended that you set up a folder in a shared area where RPS can make a copy of all images added to RPS.

Your IT contact/team will create the shared folder where a copy of all images added to RPS are stored. This will ensure images used in brochures/online are the original images, prior to compression.

If the path in the configuration for the shared folder is incorrect, RPS will prevent you from adding images. This page outlines how this can be rectified.

1. Hi-res picture path does not exist error

When this error message is displayed, RPS is unable to locate the shared folder to copy the property images to (as outlined above)

This is in place to prevent compressed images from being used in brochures or online listings

2. Check folder location

In some instances, the issue can be resolved by re-establishing connection to the shared drive as follows:

  • Browse to the location highlighted in the error message, when found, open the shared folder

3. Contact your IT contact/team

  • If the action taken in step 2 did not work, contact your IT contact/team who will be able to confirm the correct path for the hi-res folder

  • Contact Reapit Support with the correct path
