A variety of configuration options are available to log whether an applicant has given permission to be contacted by Financial Services (FS) and whether they have booked a Financial Services appointment

AgencyCloud can also be set-up to allow Financial Services reporting to be carried out for applicants

Basic level configuration

Prompt for FS Permission on applicant save

When adding/updating an applicant and clicking save, a prompt can be displayed

From the applicant record:

  • Click Save

    The Financial Services Permission window will be displayed

  • Select the relevant option and click Accept

If Not Yet Asked is left selected, the Financial Services Permission prompt will continue to be displayed when saving, until Permission Refused or Permission Given is selected

Send FS referral email

When Permission Given is selected (from the Financial Services Permission screen):

  • An email is automatically generated - addressed to the relevant Financial Services contact in your organisation


Additional options

Prompt after entering applicant status

When adding/updating applicant status, the financial services permission prompt can also be displayed

From the applicant record:

  • Click Status

    Enter relevant information for the applicant

  • When closing the Applicant Status screen, the Financial Services Permission prompt is displayed
    (as shown in the Basic level configuration section above)


If Not Yet Asked is left selected, the prompt will continue to be displayed after accessing and closing the Applicant Status screen, until Permission Refused/Given is selected

A Financial Services button can be displayed on the applicant screen

This allows the Financial Services Permission status to be viewed and/or changed at any time, as required 

From the applicant record:

  • Click Financial Services button (from options across top)

  • The Financial Services Permission screen is displayed
    (as shown in the Basic level configuration section above)


Option to log appointment booked & prompt

When this option is enabled:

  • The Financial Services Permission screen includes a tick box to log Financial Services appointment booked 
    (see a)

  • When saving an applicant with the Financial Services status of Not Yet Asked or Permission Given, a prompt is displayed to confirm whether an appointment has been made for the applicant
    (see b)

    • Clicking Yes will tick the Financial Services appointment booked box in the Financial Services Permission screen

Reporting on applicant FS Permission & FS Appointment Booked

From the main menu:

  • Click Reports and select Power Reports

  • Change the report type to Applicants and select Sales or Lettings, as appropriate

    The highlighted fields above allow you to report on applicants according to their Financial Services position


Example report

This report will return:

  • Active applicants
  • registered at the user's Office
  • with a Buying Position of Pending Mortgage (sales applicants)
  • that have given FS permission (FS Asked)
  • but haven't got an FS appointment booked (FS Appt booked)

Reports run regularly can be added to an Organiser panel - first, click Save to save the Power Report as a Predefined Report, then go to the Organiser and, from the panel header you wish to add the report to, click Settings (cog) icon and click the New Category link
