A property marketing embargo function can be enabled - this is available for sales properties

When enabled - after a property is listed, only the listing office can view the property record or match applicants to it for a set number of days. Once the number of days elapses, the property will automatically become visible to all offices and will be available in match results for them.

This configuration option needs to be enabled via Reapit Support - click here to request this

Example - office A has listed a new property today which is under marketing embargo for 14 days

For a user in office B, for 14 days:

  • In their Organiser, Activity Panel, the embargoed property will not be displayed in New Instructions

  • When applicant matching, if an embargoed property has matched to the applicant, before the list of matched properties is displayed, a prompt will be displayed to inform of this:
This match contains 1 property under marketing embargo that will be removed from the list

  • If the embargoed property is returned in a list or report, clicking the property will display a message to inform that viewing of the property is prohibited
An embargoed property will still be shown in a list/report but you will not be able to gain access to the property record

When the marketing embargo period is completed - i.e. the number of days since instruction has elapsed - office B will automatically be able to access the property record and match applicants to it
