A configuration option is available which, when enabled, requires a valid electrical safety certificate to be present on a tenancy before the tenancy can be made current

1. Enter electrical safety certificate details From tenancy:

2. Enter certificate details Where required, enter certificate details as usual New certificates can be added by clicking the No certificate link on the Pre-Tenancy screen (shown in step 1) or from the property via the Attributes screen (Appliances, Insurance & Safety tab) |

3. When making tenancy current When making a tenancy current, if a valid electrical certificate is not entered (and No electric is not ticked) - a prompt will be displayed |
