Internet Registrations setup guidelines - Small Business (Agency) customers

This guide has been reviewed against our global client base and classed as relevant to all regions

When a portal lead enquiry is sent from a website, such as Rightmove, it is held in the Internet Registrations screen - this screen allows you to view enquiry details then either add them as an applicant/property, mark them as a duplicate or reject them

When adding a new applicant/property record, details are taken from the original enquiry and automatically added to your database

A selection of reports are also available to assist in overseeing where enquiries originate and what actions have been taken.

Agency Setup Model / Process / Troubleshooting FAQs

In order to get set-up with Internet Registrations to handle portal leads on your platform, the following setup model is followed:

  • A mailbox is hosted by Reapit

  • You/your IT representative, create forwarding rules from each office's mailbox to the hosted mailbox email address 

  • Portal leads will be received from the standard portals, plus your own website (but no others)

  • Portal leads are received into the Internet Registrations screen on your Reapit platform

  1. You/your IT rep should request the Internet Registrations functionality via Reapit Support

  2. Reapit Support will then create a mailbox and provide you with the email address for it - this address will follow the standard format of <customer name>@jetportalreg.co.uk

  3. You/your IT rep, should liaise with the relevant portal feeds to provide the information required as outlined in the table in 3a below

  4. You/your IT rep, should set-up forwarding rules from your office mailbox(es) to <customer name>@jetportalreg.co.uk

  5. When the table outlined/shown in 3a (below) has been returned, Reapit Support will then be able to set-up the Internet Registrations function

Q: My leads are not being imported into Reapit Agency Cloud

A: Check they are being received into your office's mailbox first
If they are, then check if the forwarding rule to the Reapit mailbox is set-up correctly

 

Q: I am not receiving emails from the portals as expected
OR Emails are being received but they are being sent to the wrong account

A: Contact the respective portal providers and request they update their rules
