Outstanding optional pre-instruction checks indicated on property record

This guide has been reviewed against our global client base and classed as relevant to all regions

Available from version 12.198

No configuration is required for this update - however, pre-instruction checklists, including identifying optional checks within a checklist, does require configuration

When all mandatory items within a pre-instruction checklist are complete but one or more optional checks are still outstanding:

  1. Pre-Instruction Checks button shaded amber (see point 1 below)
When one or more mandatory checks are incomplete, it is shaded red
When both mandatory and optional checks are complete, it is shaded green

  2. Incomplete optional checks included in the Incomplete pre-instruction checks column on a property grid (see point 2 below)
A property grid can be seen via the Organiser and also when running a property report

This update gives better awareness of checks that are still to be completed
Prior to this release, when all mandatory checks were completed, the Pre-Instruction Checks button on the property record would be shaded green (with no indication that optional checks still needed to be completed), plus optional checks that were not completed would not be flagged in the property grid column

2. View details of incomplete optional checks in property grids

When viewing a property grid via the Organiser or after running a property report, the Incomplete pre-instruction checks column will display outstanding optional checks as well as mandatory checks

From Organiser:

  • In the Overview panel, right-click Pre-instruction checks incomplete and select Full results

  • The Incomplete pre-instruction checks column (usually shown far right of grid) displays all incomplete checks, including information on whether they are Optional or Mandatory along with a count of how many are outstanding for both check types
